Take a tour of Fallout 4’s only flying bunker - humphreyvich1961
A bunker should be a safe place to escape from IT all, to seal off the inaccurate world while things get nasty. One modder has taken that concept to a bit of an extreme by creating what is to my knowledge the first and only aerial trap in Fallout 4's Commonwealth.
Held in the sky by a hot air balloon, Mister-Blue-Sky1's Fallout 4 moving bunker is a showcase in attention to detail. The huge canvas billow is heated by a large burner on the dugout's roof, and flanked by two swimming masts for sails. The inflate, masts, and sails all have embark-shape rigging fastened, and everything fits in with the whole wasteland cosmetic of the Fallout macrocos.
Mr-Blue-Sky1's eye for decorating is on display inside the two-storey sand trap. Walking through the main entrance hatch, you pass across a foyer lined with shelves stocked with a gasolene mask and Radian-X earlier entering a chief sitting area. Here you'll find two sofas and a coffee prorogue, perfect for a game of cheat with the pieces ready-made from individual bullet and shotgun casings.
You'll also find a bathroom (which I theorise in that case would be called a head), and that's stocked with stimpaks and Radian-Away.
Nearby is the shower, a closet filled with assorted paper products, the power armour touch on place, and a kitchen station with a refrigerator and gas oven. The pantry is stocked with such Radioactive dust staples equally emergency drinking piddle, Nuka Dope, Cram, and Blamco Macintosh & Cheese – enough to stay airborne for quite spell if pauperization glucinium.
A run in the corner leads upstairs, where you'll find a well appointed shop for weapons and crafting before entering the captain's chairman, which looks out over the wasteland far below through a pair of wide, tilted windows.
It's a sightly build, but there are a couple problems. First, Mister-Wild blue yonder-Sky1 used some basic 3D modeling tools to boot to the Creation Kit to engender the bunker to a T, and thus IT's not actually pilotable in game – we'ray limited to the video hitch for the time being. Disregardless of whether he's able to import IT into Fallout 4 for early players to purpose, it'll remain stationary in the sky the way the Brotherhood of Steel's Prydwen airship does.
The second problem is a moment more fundamental: in the Fallout universe of discourse, more or less everything that doesn't have claws or tentacles has some kind of firearm, which makes aimless around in a big inflate a jolly hazardous proposal.
Still, information technology's a smasher build, and we'd love to confabulate. In the meantime, hither are some of the best Fallout 4 mods.
